Nicholas A. Heydenrych

Nicholas A. Heydenrych has lived in Oregon since 1992. He graduated from Oregon State University in 2002, earning honors and distinction with double degrees in Political Science and Psychology. After college, he earned his Juris Doctorate from William and Mary.

During college Nicholas worked as a library clerk, news reporter, columnist, editor, and television anchor. During law school he clerked for the Portland litigation firm Markowitz Herbold, where his assignments emphasized complex commercial litigation for corporate clients. He later clerked for the Environmental Protection Agency's Criminal Investigation Division, coordinating EPA investigations with the Department of Justice. He worked on cases that ultimately led to prosecution for waste smuggling, racketeering, and lab fraud.

Since 2006 Nicholas has primarily represented individuals in litigation. His current practice areas include family, juvenile, and criminal law. He has a strong trial performance record in these areas and enjoys representing clients in litigation. In addition, he has a growing practice in estate planning and contracts.

Nicholas is a founding partner of Guinn and Heydenrych LLC. He is currently a member of the Oregon State Bar Association, the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Washington County Bar Association. When not working, Nicholas enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He is also an avid Texas Hold 'em player.
