Janelle Factora Wipper

Janelle completed her law school education in 1996 and went to work for the Tillamook County District Attorney's office for a year. She moved from that position to the Washington County District Attorney's office in June of 1998, where she currently prosecutes all levels of felony crimes. As part of her experience in the criminal arena, Ms. Wipper has specialized in elder abuse and vehicular assault and manslaughter cases for approximately seven years. The elder abuse cases included various aspects of probate law, and afforded her an opportunity to work with various members of the community in combating elder abuse in the multi-disciplinary team setting and otherwise. In working car crash cases, she worked closely with law enforcement in investigating serious car crashes from beginning to end. In both arenas she has provided education to law enforcement and participatory citizen groups.
