Elizabeth was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. She and her husband, also an attorney, moved to the Portland area in 1993 when he got a job with the Washington County District Attorney's office.
During law school, Elizabeth interned at the Lane County District Attorney's Office, as well as with the law firm of Jaqua & Wheatley, P.C. in Eugene, Oregon. She worked part-time during the school year and full-time during the summers with the firm, which primarily focused on insurance defense law. In February of 2003, Elizabeth and her family moved to Beaverton. She graduated from law school in May of 2003, but did not take the bar exam due to the impending arrival of her first child. She spent the next ten years as a stay -at-home mom and an active community volunteer. In February 2004, she took and passed the Oregon State Bar exam and later that year began working as a contract attorney with Kevin Luby. In February 2005, she officially joined the Luby Law Firm as Of Counsel assisting clients with estate planning and probate matters, small business planning and disputes, landlord/tenant issues and construction disputes.
Elizabeth is the parent of two boys who are very active in sports. She and her family enjoy skiing as well as trips to Sunriver, the gym, and anywhere on the Oregon beach.
